What To Expect From An Editor

I am happy to announce the first episode of Pros Talking Prose. This will be a monthly YouTube episode posted at the end of each month featuring industry professionals, writers, and readers. We will discuss the ins and outs of writing and how writers can meet the needs of readers.

I have come to really love my visits with Kristen Hamilton (Kristen Corrects). She is also a freelance editor here in my hometown, and we have some awesome talks. I felt it only appropriate to have her be my first guest on my Pros Talking Prose segment of Read Write Random.
Kristen has a great track record and loads of experience, so she is a perfect resource to talk shop and share what we know about the freelance editing. I really loved filming this episode with her.
We thought writers would really appreciate hearing from two professional editors about what you should expect when hiring an editor. Enjoy.

Stacey Smekofske

Stacey Smekofske is an editor and author coach for award winning and best-selling authors. She specialized in indie published authors and helps them publish beautiful and marketable books.
